Training international MA students to security, reliability and trust in Information Technology

PaRIS (Partnership in Information Security) is a 3-year long Strategic Partnership, funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus + programme (Key Action 2), gathering 4 partner universities.

Seeking informed IT specialists
Information technology is all around us – at work, home and on our portable devices. Communication networks and software systems are increasingly interconnected as we expect to access services and applications anywhere and anytime.
Scientific and technological advances are therefore required to develop secure, reliable and trustworthy information and communication technology (ICT) systems and services.

Our teaching aims/added-value
The goal of this strategic partnership is to respond to this challenge and to the increasing demand for specialists in the area of security, reliability and trust in information technology by:

  • Setting up an International Joint Master’s Programme in Information Security between the participating higher education institutions (HEIs), all of which are leading institutions in this field.

A 5-day Intensive Study Programme in Information Security will take place every year with the participation of Master students and teaching staff from all the European partner institutions.
