As of September 2014, the University of Luxembourg is coordinator of a Strategic partnership in Information Security (ParIS) within the framework of the Erasmus + programme.

The project is the first strategic partnership coordinated by the University of Luxembourg under the new Erasmus + programme.

Its goal is to respond to the increasing demand for specialists in the area of security, reliability and trust in information technology by developing an international joint Master’s programme in information securitybetween the University of Luxembourg and the other partner universities:

In order to reach this goal, the project leaders will closely collaborate in designing and adapting a common curriculum, focusing especially on the employability of future graduates and the use of ICT methodologies.

In addition,Intensive Study Programmeswill take place every year with the participation of Master students and teaching staff from all the partner institutions, offering participating students the opportunity to benefit from the specific expertise of teachers and researchers from the partner institutions and to work together in multinational groups.

A first consortium meeting will take place in November at Warsaw University of Technology, with the participation of all partner universities.

Strategic partnerships can be funded within Key Action 2 (Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practices) of the Erasmus + programme. The first call for applications within this action was launched in December 2013. The action is managed by the Erasmus + national agency of each country, i.e. Anefore for Luxembourg.
